Biff Bird receives Excellence in University Service Award

Biff Bird, left, systems database analyst at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) received the Staff Excellence in University Service award from Missouri State University (MSU) during the annual Staff Service Awards Luncheon Jan. 8 at the Springfield campus. The award, given annually, recognizes employees who strive to do their jobs well on a daily basis, who go above and beyond the call of duty in a special situation, and who have contributed in a significant way to the success of the university. Recipients receive a $1,500 cash award from the university and a plaque. Bird receives his award above from MSU System President Biff Williams.
