Clarification:

In an article in the August 12 edition titled, “WS schools announce bus route changes,” Howell County News announced the district superintendent did not respond to two requests for details. In a show of good faith cooperation with the school district, we wish to explain than Dr. Johnson says he did attempt to return our call. A technological failure did not record the call or any message, but since this publication is proceeding with a clean slate with Dr. Johnson, he deserved the benefit of the doubt from us.
