Former Mtn. View FFA members donates to trap team

The Mountain View-Birch Tree FFA Trap Team received a sizable donation from a former trap team member. Robert Mantel III, a 2022 graduate of Liberty High School, recently donated $2,000 to the trap team.

 

The trap team plans to use the money to save up to purchase a new trap thrower, which costs between $4,500 and $5,000. The team's old thrower is approximately 14 years old.

 

Mantel is currently in his third year serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He serves on an aircraft carrier and is stationed in Norfolk, Va. Mantel is the son of Robert Mantel II and Shelly Mantel.
