International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) returns July 13-15

The International Country Gospel Music Association is bringing its 67th annual convention and awards show to West Plains on July 13, 14, and 15. 
For the 14th year in a row, this event has been held in West Plains. Many singers, songwriters, and musicians from all across America, and several foreign countries will gather at The Bridge Church, formerly known as The Barn Event Center for three days, and nights of Country Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, and Southern Gospel music. This amazing musical event is open to the public for free. 
This year's show will again bring some very popular, and highly recognized artists to the stage. Chris Golden, who played and sang with the Oak Ridge Boys for 16 years will be appearing. Country legend Barbara Fairchild, together with her husband Roy Morris, will also be featured. James Payne, Bruce Haynes, Mary Fay Jackson, Bill Baker, Daniel Spencer, Heather Van Deren, Jim Sheldon of the Music City TV Show, Joy Roberts, The Tiptons, Crystle Elam, Bluegrass favorites, Stringed Union, The Waymasters, and many, many others will be appearing. 
There is live music all day, with singers performing on showcases in the mornings and afternoons. Major concerts each evening at 6:00 p.m. The highlight of the week is the 67th Annual Gold Cross Awards Show, held Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. The I.C.G.M.A. honors excellence in music with awards being presented in 28 categories. 
A special Sunday morning I.C.G.M.A. service has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on July 16. A number of artists will be singing, and the special guest speaker will be Dr. James Payne.
