MV-BT school board continues search for supt.

The search for a Superintendent to replace retiring Superintendent Lanna Tharp is on-going. The school board met recently during a special meeting to discuss salary range.
On Thursday, Aug. 27 the board met at 5:00 p.m. where current Superintendent Lanna Tharp led a salary range discussion for the Superintendent search.
At 5:04 p.m. the board went into closed session for RSMo 610.021 (3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees, and (13) Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employees or applicants for employment.
During closed, the board approved to employ Seth Holloway, Custodian; Briana Parcell, Bus Driver; and Tristen Greer, Para. The board accepted the resignation of Diane Hood, Para effective August 26, 2026.
The board returned to open session at 5:07 p.m. and adjourned.
