Full Quiver filling cups in Mtn. View

Coffee lovers rejoice – there is a new place to get your caffeine fix in Mountain View. Full Quiver Coffee and Café opened in early February at 101 U.S. Highway 60. It shares a plaza with Wal-Mart and Apple Market.

The sun-soaked and intimate setting seats approximately 25.  The café has homey touches like candy bowls on the tables and a community prayer board. Offering espresso-based drinks, slushies, breakfast, paninis, soup, and baked goods, the new spot is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Owners Jamie and Stacey Gordon relocated to Mountain View from Washington State about a year-and-a-half ago, Jamie said. The “full quiver” refers to their eleven children.
When they first arrived in the Ozarks, they could not find the kind of coffee experience they were used to in the Pacific Northwest.

“We come from coffee country, and we saw this as a way to bless our community, to get to know people, and to witness for the Lord…We needed something like this in town,” Jamie said Friday morning.
In addition to an emphasis on strong coffee, Full Quiver boasts baked goods and soups prepared on site. The establishment uses organic flours and sugars as well as chemical and GMO-free ingredients.
When Howell County News stopped by Friday morning, there was a steady stream of customers.

“It’s been an awesome reception,” Jamie said. “It’s gone better than we expected.”
