Bring your homegrown and home-preserved food for judging to the Howell County News booth at the Bear City Festival on Saturday, October 2! We will be judging and awarding prizes for preserved food and fresh food grown or processed here in the Ozarks.
Both fresh and preserved goods will be judged on appearance only; canning jars will not be opened. Smoked, cured, and dehydrated foods may be presented for consideration of appearance as well.
We will award one blue ribbon prize: 1-year digital/print subscription to Howell County News and $50 cash prize.
