2023 Howell County Fire Rally Oct. 7

The 2023 Howell County Fire Rally will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Go Cat Parking lot, located 395 E. Broadway St., across from the West Plains Civic Center.
At 10:00 a.m., there will be a Posting of the Colors by the Howell County Honor Guard Team and the presentation of the plaque to honor someone in the county.
At 11:00 a.m., the games will start for adults and kids. The order of the games are as follows:
Reverse Hose Lay for adults; Tug-o-War for kids; Tug-o-War for adults; Truck Pull for kids; Truck Pull for adults; Tricycle Race for kids; Tricycle Race for adults; Bucket Brigade for kids; and Bucket Brigade for adults.
After the games, trophies and medals will be awarded to the adults and kids who won the competitions. After the awards are given out there will be a parking lot clean up.
The Howell County Auxiliary will have hot dogs, chips, water and possibly baked goods for sale. There will be vendors including kettle corn and lemonade.
