37th Annual Cystic Fibrosis concert featuring Rodney Atkins

The Cystic Fibrosis Association of West Plains and their partner, K-Kountry 95 Radio Station, will be hosting the 37th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Concert on Saturday, March 15, at the West Plains Civic Center. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the silent auction will begin. A live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Billy Sexton as the auctioneer. The live auction is followed by an opening performance by Jessica's Friends under the direction of Diane Reed, a group of local talent.  

 

This year, Rodney Atkins will be featured. Atkins received the Country Artist Newcomers Award in 2006. Also in 2006 he won Song of the Year for his number one hit, “Cleaning This Gun”, and again in 2007 for his number one hit, “Watching You”. That song became the song of the decade for the 2000's. Atkins will be singing many of his other hit like “Caught Up In The Country” along with his newest hit “True South” and many, many more.

 

The money raised at the 37th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Music Show will go towards much-needed research. Ticket are on sale now. Prices for advance tickets are $30.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  At the door price is $40.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
