Diabetes education classes at Howell County Health Dept.

Need Diabetes Education? The Howell County Health Department can help. The HCHD offers free diabetic education classes in small group settings to be interactive and discuss. Each group will have 4 classes, each covering a different aspect of diabetic living.
 
What to Expect:
- Check your A1c levels at first and last class, and again at a 90-day follow-up.
- Check your weight to calculate BMI at first and last class, and again at a 90-day follow-up.
- Short survey to complete at first and last class, nd again at a 90-day follow-up.
- ADCES Certified Lifestyle Coach will teach your class.
- This is a series of 4-classes, once per month for 4 months, each covering a different aspect of diabetes.
- $25 Casey's gas card for your participation (to be provided at the last of four classes).
- Snacks provided.
 
Classes begin November 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Registration is required. The classes will be held at the Howell County Health Department, located at 180 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains, MO.
