Downtown Food Truck, Music, and Art Festival Aug. 12 in Mtn. View

Bring your appetite and lawn chair to the Downtown Food Truck, Music, and Art Festival, to be held from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 in Mtn. View.
This free event will take place just south of First Street, outside the Mtn. View Chamber of Commerce and Southwest Baptist University. The festival is hosted by the Neighborhood Tribe, Foster’s Appliance, and Sylvia Tegan Vaughn.
Food trucks and vendors will be serving a variety of refreshments. Many talented artists and crafters will be showcasing and selling their work. Musicians performing include King Size, Brandy Lee, Anthony Garner, The Owlettes, Sacrifice the Truth, and Jessamyn Orchard.
One of the festival hosts Sylvia Tegan Vaughn says, “We are so excited to be throwing this festival for the third year in a row. We know it will likely be a hot one, so we will have free water for all, misters set up, and kiddie pools for the kids. Please don’t forget your lawn chair. Bring the family and come eat, check out the art, and hear some great tunes from local musicians."
Check out and share the event on The Neighborhood Tribe’s Facebook page. For more information, contact Sylvia Tegan Vaughn at 417-247-7875 or sylviategan@gmail.com or message The Neighborhood Tribe on Facebook.
