Howell County Republican Central Committee to host State Representative Candidate Debate and Judicial Candidate Forum

The Howell County Republican Central Committee is hosting a judicial candidate forum and candidate debate on Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center in Mountain View, Mo.

The evening's featured event will be a debate between the Republican candidates seeking to represent Missouri's 154th House District. Incumbent Representative and challenger Travis Smith will be present to debate.

In addition to the legislative debate, judicial candidates Heath Hardman, Marty Simpson, Larry Burton, and Lyndell Beard will address attendees. Each candidate will be invited to speak about their qualifications, legal experience, educational background, community involvement, and judicial philosophy.

Questions from the public can be submitted through the Howell County Republican Facebook page up through the event date. Questions for the representatives will be accepted until the judicial candidates finish speaking. No anonymous questions will be accepted, and there is no guarantee submitted questions will be asked. Volunteers from the Republican central committee will curate and collect the questions.
