Knights of Columbus to hold annual fund drive

The Knights of Columbus Council in Willow Springs will be conducting its annual fundraiser for persons with developmental disabilities Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7 and 8.

Commonly referred to as the Tootsie Roll Drive, the council members distribute Tootsie Rolls in appreciation of donations to the drive. One-half of the net proceeds from the drive are donated to the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. The other half is directed by the council to a local developmental disabilities service provider.

Members will be working at G&W Foods, Town and Country Supermarket and Tractor Supply Company on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. Look for the orange and red aprons. All donations will be appreciated.
