Ladies' Aid bazaar, bake and yard sale on Oct. 29

Mt. Pisgah Ladies’ Aid is celebrating their 80th anniversary with a bazaar and Llunch on Saturday, Oct. 29 with the public invited. The Ladies’ Aid was organized in 1942 to support the church, Mt. Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church, and to assist those in the area who needed some help. Today’s purpose is similar. The members, several whose mothers were among the organization’s founders, meet twice a month and make handmade home and gift items. Favorites are quilts, lye soap, hand embroidered dish towels, and crocheted/fabric one-of-a kind items. These are sold with the money going to local and area charities.
There’s something for everyone at the 2022 MPLA bazaar, bake and yard sale on Oct. 29 to be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church’s fellowship hall, located 5.5 miles northeast of Cabool at 2350 Mt. Pisgah Road. From Hwy. 63 turn South on U and then South on Mt. Pisgah Road. The church is immediately off U Hwy.
The chili, soup and dessert lunch beginning at 11:00 a.m. will be for a donation cost.
