New Ladies Guild at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willow Springs holds meeting

A new Ladies Guild has been started at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willow Springs. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:15 p.m. in the church hall.

This newly formed group of women held their first meeting on June 30 and set goals for their group and fundraising efforts this year. Their purpose is to support their parish community by assisting families in need, helping their priest in support of parish programs and to help with improvements and upgrades to the building and facilities.

The guild will meet these goals by donating their time to parish programs, events and fundraising this year. Watch for information about the fundraiser in November and get your orders in early for the delicious fruitcakes that they will be selling.
