Ozarks Healthcare Foundation to host Benefit Auction Nov. 5

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation will host a benefit auction on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Ozarks Healthcare Parkway Center at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains. Proceeds will be used to help fund scholarships to students entering the healthcare field and support the Foundation’s mission of helping Ozarks Healthcare provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare through development of equipment, technology, wellness programs, and more.
“We are excited for the potential this auction has to help our community,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “The future of healthcare has largely to do with the educational opportunities of our local students. This auction will help us create more financial avenues for our local youth to access healthcare education and find careers through our scholarship program.”
The Foundation welcomes community members to donate items such as cars, trucks, boats, land, and farm or construction equipment to the auction.
“We hope our community will feel inclined to participate in our auction with us,” Reeves said. “We have staff who will come pick up items or equipment that will be donated. Donations are tax-deductible, and we only ask for a title to be presented with vehicles and large equipment.”
Ozarks Healthcare will also be donating office items, commercial-grade kitchen equipment, and more to the auction.
To inquire about having donated items for the auction picked up, please call the Foundation at 417-853-5200 or email j.reeves@ozhcare.com.
