Power restored after storms

As of 5:00 p.m., Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc. (HOEC) announced power had been fully restored to all members. Following last Friday’s storm and tornadoes, roughly 6,500 HOEC customers were without power. Two substations received a near-direct hit, and hundreds of poles were damaged or knocked down, according to information from the co-op. Dozens of linemen from neighboring cooperatives joined forces with HOEC to repair the unprecedented damage while facing additional damages from strong winds last week.
If you remain without power, contact HOEC. If you need to report a continued power outage, call 417-256-2131 or 888-HOE-POWER.
