Watercolor Workshop to be held Sept. 8

The Willow Springs Arts Council announces a watercolor workshop on Sunday, Sept. 8. The workshop will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ferguson Building. The class is entitled “Painting Songbirds” and will be taught by local West Plains artist, Ginny Thomason. The class fee is $25.00 and includes all supplies. To register, stop by the Ferguson Building during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or call 417-469-1400.

 

The class is for adults of all skill levels. Thompson will lead students on an adventure exploring the possibilities of capturing the delicate feathers of songbirds with watercolors. Students will be able to choose the songbird they want to paint by copying supplied images or drawing freehand.
