West Plains Chamber Christmas Parade to be held Dec. 10

The West Plains Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10. This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Memories”. The chamber is thrilled this year to be bringing the West Plains Christmas Parade back downtown! The parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the corner of Porter Wagoner Blvd. and Webster (by Peoples Park), travel down West Main Street to Court Square around the south side of the Square on to East Main Street, then disbursing at the Corner of East Main and St. Louis Street.

Parade entry forms will be available beginning Nov. 1 at the chamber office located at 401 Jefferson Avenue. All those who wish to participate in the parade must register in advance. No walk-ups will be allowed.

Line-up and safety instructions will be given to entries when they register. A panel of judges will evaluate entries on originality, workmanship, and relevance to the parade theme. First and second place prizes will be awarded in three categories: commercial, religious and miscellaneous, plus an overall grand prize.
