Willow Springs Alumni to meet May 24

The Willow Springs Alumni will meet on Saturday, May 24 at the EAA Hangar. The hangar is located at 810 Bryan Street. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow for plenty of social time. There is space indoors and out so bring lawn chairs.

 

The cookout menu consists of burgers, hot dogs, and brats grilled by Mayor Adam Webb. Also on the menu is potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, and cold drinks. There will be some turkey burgers offered for the Alpha Gals. Food will be served around 5:30 p.m. There is no charge for the cookout, but donations will be greatly appreciated. There is ample parking and a shuttle service from the parking lot will be provided.  

 

Anyone planning to attend this year, please provide name, spouse, graduation year, address, phone number, and email address by calling 417-469-1400, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by emailing WillowSpringsAlumni@gmail.com. This year along with mailing address, please provide an email address and phone number for future contact. Be sure to send in all iformation by May 20.

 

Other activities for the day include: Willow Springs Rotary Club Annual Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, located on Harris Street. Enjoy finger foods at 12:00 noon at Bailey Chevrolet. Sunday afternoon the Hutton Valley Neighborhood Watch will host a Reunion/Open House at the Hutton Valley Rock School House from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
