On Saturday, Dec. 16 at 10:30 a.m. the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Mountain View they will be having a grave wreath placing ceremony for the 184 veterans that are buried in the cemetery.
Wreath sponsorships are being sought for the ceremony. There are three different ways to purchase a wreath online. On the 16, all wreaths will be delivered to the cemetery for the ceremony. The wreaths will not be sent to sponsors directly.
Three ways to sponsor wreaths:
1. www.wreathsacrossamerica.org to purchase a wreath. Anyone can purchase from the site; however, doing it this way the Ozark Spring Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will not get credit.
2. www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/MOVTMC to purchase a wreath for the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Mountain View
3. www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/MO0237 to purchase a wreath through the Ozark Spring Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Placing orders through this site sponsors will receive the 3 for 2 wreaths purchase deal. Only a group can get this offer.
