8-pound sweet potato!

Karsten Kargel of Willow Springs, grew this eight-pound sweet Beauregard sweet potato, harvesting it on August 30. A bit early in the year for sweet potatoes, Kargel pulled up this specimen to donate an early harvest to MUNCH and was surprised at its size and weight.
