Birthday Blessings Gift Hope Campaign kicks off in July

Birthday Blessings is getting ready to do an items drive through their Gifting Hope Campaign in July.
Fane Young, a Birthday Blessings volunteer, finishes a birthday party bag for a foster teen living in a residential facility. The Missouri nonprofit supports nearly 225 foster kids in Howell, Oregon and Shannon Counties. Their goal is to collect 1,000 needed items during the month of July during their Gifting Hope Campaign.
Birthday Blessings can use any new, and unopened gift items for ages 1-18, but is most in need of sports balls, Legos, baby toys, toddler toys, fishing poles and tackle, craft kits for teens, and character backpacks for children under age ten.
Items may be dropped off at the Birthday Blessings building located at 603 Oregon St. in West Plains, by appointment. There is a collection box at First United Methodist Church in West Plains. Monetary donations can be made on their website at birthday-blessings.org. There is an Amazon wish list pinned on their Facebook page.
