Christmas Parade Scheduled

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade has been scheduled for December 5. Line up for floats starts at 4:00 p.m. at Booster Field, and the parade starts at 4:30 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Gnome for the Holidays.”

 

Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place floats. Santa is asked not to appear in competition floats, as he is already scheduled to appear. 

 

Main Street Willow Springs will once again be sponsoring the Mister and Miss Merry Christmas contest. There will be a queen and king from high school, middle school, and elementary. Participants will decorate a can and leave it at a local business to collect donations.

 

The students with the most money raised will be crowned king and queen. Winners will ride in the Christmas parade.
