Douglas County Burglaries Result in Recovered Items, No Arrests Yet

In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 9, a Douglas County residence at DD and West 76 in the Goodhope area was burglarized. The items stolen included a 2014 side by side, guns, and tools. 
In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 13, the Redbank Store on O Highway, just south of NN Highway, was burglarized as well with many items of value counted as missing.
"Due to the updated security cameras of the Redbank Store, several security cameras belonging to residence in the area, and the watchful and observant community of Goodhope, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office was able to follow up on tips and leads and talk to people of interest which led them to Wright County and Ozark County," reads a press release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. 
Deputies recovered several items belonging, not only to the above mentioned burglaries, but also to a case in Ozark County. Thought the items have been recovered, as of press time, there have been no warrants issued or arrests made in connection with these crimes. According to the release, warrants and subsequent arrests are forthcoming.
