The Howell County Commission met on Aug. 11 and 15.
On Aug. 11, the Commission was scheduled to meet with representatives with South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) and Christos House to sign a grant agreement.
On Aug. 15, the Commission was scheduled to review and approve the July 2022 General Ledger Report.
The County Clerk appeared to review the results of the Board of Verification of the August 2, 2022 election.
Representatives with the Juvenile Office were scheduled for a second meeting to set up accounting for Grant 21-52.
For the foreseeable future, agendas will include discussion to consider and award ARPA requests. Agendas also regularly include approving accounts payable and recognizing any guests who appear.
Your Howell County Commissioners are Presiding Commissioner Mark Collins, Northern Commissioner Calvin Wood, and Southern Commissioner Billy Sexton. The Commission meets in regular session on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meetings remain open during the lunch hour and are open to the public.
