The Howell County Commission met on September 7 and 11.
On Thursday, Howell County Collector Janet Crow presented the report on the tax property tax sale that took place on August 28. Requests for Qualifications for a project at Christos House were also due that morning.
On Monday, the Request for Qualifications presented Thursday were reviewed and considered. Bids for the bridge replacement project on County Road 2570 were reviewed as well. Also on Monday, the commissioners were scheduled to sign a letter to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Christos House client services in Willow Springs.
Finally, the commission was scheduled to review the August 2023 general ledger report.
Commission meeting agendas regularly include approving accounts payable and recognizing any guests who appear.
Howell County Commissioners are Presiding Commissioner Ralph Riggs, Northern Commissioner Calvin Wood, and Southern Commissioner Billy Sexton. The Commission meets in regular session on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Their meetings remain open during the lunch hour and are open to the public.
