Howell County Commission Activities

On Thursday, the Commission was scheduled to review and consider bids to sell a dump truck. Representatives from the Child Support Division were scheduled to meet with the commissioners to review and sign a cooperative agreement for an IVD reimbursement program. 

Howell County Sheriff Brent Campbell was on the agenda at 11:30 a.m. to review and consider a policy and procedure contract with a legal advice development firm. 

The Commission was also scheduled to facilitate a grant for the Prosecuting Attorney’s office for the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) contract for the contract year ending Sept. 30, 2023.

For the foreseeable future, agendas will include discussion to consider and award ARPA requests. Agendas also regularly include approving accounts payable and recognizing any guests who appear.

The Commission meets in regular session on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meetings remain open during the lunch hour and are open to the public.
