The Howell County Commission met on Dec.8 and 12.
On Thursday, the Commission was scheduled to review and approve Commission records from Oct 3 through Nov. 29 as well as the November General Ledger report. A review and approval of County officials’ bonds was also on Thursday’s agenda.
Representatives from SCOCOG were expected to appear to sign documentation for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to benefit Christos House.
For the foreseeable future, agendas will continue to include discussion to consider and award ARPA requests. Agendas also regularly include approving accounts payable and recognizing any guests who appear.
Your Howell County commissioners are Presiding Commissioner Mark Collins, Northern Commissioner Calvin Wood, and Southern Commissioner Billy Sexton. The commission meets in regular session on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The meetings remain open during the lunch hour and are open to the public.
