Independent Pharmacy Opening

Brandon and Bobbi Gregory are planning to launch a locally-owned, independent pharmacy in Willow Springs. Their pharmacy is called Good Graces and will be located in the strip mall on East Main Street in the location recently occupied by Lakeland Pharmacy.

Brandon was previously the pharmacist and manager of Lakeland. However, he said owning and operating a small-town pharmacy was always his plan.

The Gregorys are from Willow Springs, although Bobbi was quick to point out Brandon’s family only moved to town when he was in the second grade. Brandon started working for Steve Norman at Ferguson Drug in 2002 before it was sold to Walgreens, he said. Though Steve remained a mentor to Brandon as he obtained a pharmacist’s license and managerial experience, plans changed and careers diverged. But Brandon never lost sight of his goal and dream to operate a “community-centric” pharmacy with a “hometown feeling.”

The choice of location for Good Graces was an easy one, Brandon said.

“It’s what I know, and people know it as a pharmacy,” he explained.

In the beginning, the staff will consist of only Brandon and Bobbi.

“The plan is to build on what we’ve got, which right now, is just Bobbi and I,” Brandon said.

Good Graces will be a full-service pharmacy with retail offerings and is scheduled to open around the first of the year.
