Local Salvation Army Sponsor: H&M Ranch Store

The honorary sponsor of the Willow Springs Salvation Army for 2020 is H&M Ranch Store on Main Street.

 

According to WSSA President Larry Simon, collections in the red kettles around town are down this year. The kettles can be found at five stores around Willow Springs: H&M Ranch Store, Town & Country, G&W Foods, Tractor Supply, and Waggoner’s True Value. There will also be cans for donations in several stores around town.

 

Because of COVID-19, volunteers will not be solicited to ring a bell next to the kettles this year. Simon said volunteers are encouraged, but the organization will not make calls to invite or schedule them. Instead, volunteers are encouraged to “just go ring.” Participants must wear a mask while manning a kettle.  

 

Salvation Army representatives say this is an “uncertain and desperate time for our community.” The organization has already distributed all the donations collected in 2019 plus an additional $1,500. The need is great this year. Please be generous. 

 

Kettles and cans will be on display throughout the rest of the year.
