Locals Send Relief Truck to Kentucky

In the wake of the December 10 tornadoes that killed dozens and spread destruction across Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky, a group of locals gathered a relief truck full of supplies and drove it to Mayfield, Ky. Pictured are organizers “KJ” (on the truck) and Christina Coutu (middle). They drove the U-Haul full of relief supplies to Kentucky last week.
Several Willow Springs businesses donated funds or items to the project. The organizers recognized Waggoner True Value, who donated a pallet of cleaning supplies. Tractor Supply Company donated and sold the organizers merchandise at cost, and The Willow Tree donated paper products and served as a drop location for donations.
For more information on the project, see the organizers' YouTube channel “Off the Wall Prepper.”
