On 08/13/2020, the West Plains Police Department received a call from South 63 Motors in reference to a pick-up truck which had been stolen. According to the report, the truck is a 2000 Chevrolet truck and is black in color. The truck was stolen around 3:00 AM. The truck does not have any license plate information. The business surveillance footage showed a white male, tall and slender, enter the car lot and then leave a short time later in the vehicle. The identity of the suspect remains unknown at this time.

The vehicle is a 2010 Chevrolet Impala and is silver in color. A possible suspect has been named but the vehicle has yet to be located.
As a reminder, many stolen vehicle reports the police receive consist of vehicles left unlocked with the keys in or around the vehicle. The WPPS said, “It is very important to make sure vehicles are locked and the keys are put away.”
