Production company to make film about local authors book

Southern Missouri production company, Haven Films (John Hollback and Tray Whitsell), has accepted a script from Edwin Woolsey's book, The Chronicler - Wolves of War, to produce a pilot film for promotion as a movie or television series.

Edwin's book series chronicles his family's historic saga from the Saxon settlement of England to the American Great Depression, a 1,200-year odyssey. Woolsey's books can be purchased locally at Book Nook in West Plains or online simply by Googling the author's name, Edwin L. Woolsey.

The film features three desperate friends, running from murderous Viking hordes in medieval Wessex, stop at a lowly swineherd's hut to beg for food and inadvertently encounter a mysterious stranger whose personal plight forever changes their future and England's too.
