Second Annual Hutton Valley Fall Festival a Success

The historic Hutton Valley Schoolhouse was the location of the Second Annual Hutton Valley Fall Festival. The event is a collaboration between the Hutton Valley Neighborhood Watch and Neighborhood Christian Schools. NCS is newly opened this fall and offers classical education in the one-room schoolhouse. The school’s playground equipment lent a family-friendly atmosphere to the festivities. Children of all ages were swinging, climbing, and sliding throughout the day.
This year’s event was a major upgrade from last year’s, with three food trucks and dozens of vendors set up to take advantage of one of the only fall festivals that will take place this season. Organizers said at least 500 visitors filtered in and out during the 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. event.
Next year promises to be an event of similar size, with many vendors already signed up for the 2021 festival including food and drink vendors, craft and makeup sellers, and more.
