Texas County man missing for more than two weeks

A Texas County man is the subject of a missing persons case that began in January.

John Dudding, 58, of Willow Springs, was reported missing on Jan. 25 by his son, Sheriff Scott Lindsey told Howell County News. The son could not reach his father phone or at his rural residence. The son then contacted the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, who opened a missing persons case.
Surrounding fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and volunteers searched the rural area, turning up nothing, Sheriff Lindsey said. Ground and air search efforts were also conducted with K-9 units and drones. The search is ongoing.
