West Plains Woman Airlifted Away from DWI Crash

Christina Finch, 37, of West Plains, was released from Missouri State Highway Patrol custody in order to be airlifted to Cox South in Springfield on April 10. Finch was arrested on charges of DWI, prior offender; failure to drive on the right half of the roadway; no insurance; failure to transfer ownership of vehicle; and no seat belt. 
Finch was the only person involved in the one-vehicle crash that took place at 12:30 a.m. on US Highway 160 three miles south of West Plains. The crash report from Troop G indicated the crash occurred when Finch failed to negotiate a curve, struck an embankment, and overturned. Finch was no wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
