On Jan. 2, Daniece O. Clinton, 34, of West Plains, pled guilty to four counts of abuse or neglect of a child and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Clinton was originally indicted and issued an arrest warrant in March of last year. The guilty plea filed by Clinton states, “I abused and endangered the welfare of my children by pointing a firearm at them.”
Clinton posted bond at $25,000 on Jul. 10, under the conditions of wearing an ankle bracelet and avoiding contact with the alleged victims. At the time of writing, she is not under police custody. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Mar. 4, 1:00 p.m., at the Howell County Circuit Court, 106 Courthouse, West Plains.
