Willow Man Charged with Property Damage

Clayton Rice, 24, of Willow Springs, faces one felony charge of property damage relating to a domestic disturbance from late January.

On January 30, Officer Corey Clark responded to a residence shortly after 11:00 p.m. and observed Rice and a woman yelling at each other. Officer Clark separated the parties and learned that Rice caused significant damage to the residence the parties shared. Court documents indicate the value of the damage was $971.50. Police records say Rice punched a bedroom door, tore it off its hinges, and punched multiple holes in walls.

The Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed one Class E felony charge of property damage against Rice on March 17. A warrant was issued for his arrest the same day, but as of press time he remains at large.
