Willow Springs Alumni Celebration May 27

Are you a member of the Willow Springs Schools alumni?
Alumni definition: Graduates or former students of a particular educational institution; former members, employees, contributors, or the like.
May 27 is the day to celebrate attending Willow Springs Schools. An open-air cookout is planned at the EAA Hangar, located at 810 Bryan Street. Doors will open by 3:00 p.m. with plans to begin serving at 5:30 p.m. The menu will include grilled burgers, brats and hotdogs prepared by alumni Adam Webb. Dinner will include potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, chips, cookies, and cold drinks.
There is no charge for the cookout, but donations are certainly welcomed and encouraged to cover the cost of copy paper, labels, envelopes, printing, postage and the meal. The event ran over $2,700 in 2022, and now prices have increased. At least six hundred invitation letters are mailed annually. Once again, ample parking, and shuttle parking service will be offered. There will be some picnic tables, but please do not forget to bring your lawn chairs.
To better plan the food preparation, please provide your information (name, spouse, graduation year, address, phone, email address) by calling 417-469-1400, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by emailing WillowSpringsAlumni@gmail.com by May 19.
