Willow Springs Man Dies in Crash Outside Cabool

Stewart Pringle, 47, of Willow Springs, did not survive a single car crash that took place five miles south of Cabool on Highway 181 on August 31.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when Pringle’s vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by Douglas County Coroner, Rick Miller, at 3:48 p.m. The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
