Calls for Service 

November 12

A pedestrian near Veterans Park asked where he could go to get out of the rain. The subject was advised of where he could go. 

November 13

A male subject involved in a peace disturbance and property damage was found sleeping on a bench on 5th Street. 

A male was reported harassing employees at a business on U.S. Highway 60. The suspect was gone on arrival. 

A possibly intoxicated driver was reported in the Walmart parking lot. The subject was gone on arrival. 

A report was received of a possible tractor trailer broken down in the middle of U.S. Highway 60. No such vehicle was located. 

November 14

A woman reported that there were three teenage males messing with her vehicle on Angelica Street.  The woman stated that she believed the teens were former friends of her son. 

An officer responded to Malone’s Motel for a disgruntled customer. The customer was demanding free services and making complaints. The customer left the motel. The same individual called 911, saying that he had been asked to leave Signal for loitering. The man later called 911 again, stating that a car had tried to run over him. The man had no injuries. 

Assistance was given to EMS to get into a senior apartment on Delp Road. 

November 15

A caller requested that police go to an apartment to get the caller’s property back, after they had moved out. The caller was advised that it was a civil matter. 

Two step stones, which had been stolen, were recovered from the trash outside of Anchor. A suspect was recorded on video surveillance.
