Incidents 
November 30
Illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized during a search on County Road 6610. The investigation is ongoing. 
A deceased female was reported at a residence on County Road 4990 in Willow Springs. 
Contact was made with a male subject who had an active warrant. The male was taken into custody. 
A stolen firearm was reported on County Road 1580. 
A bag of methamphetamine was found on a male subject, who was being taken into custody on an active warrant on State Route DD. 
December 1
Conley’s gas station reported a fuel theft. 
A domestic assault was reported at a residence on U.S. Highway 60 in Willow Springs. The suspect was found to have an active order of protection against the victim. The suspect was arrested with formal charges pending. 
A resident on County Road 7570 reported the theft of a firearm. The investigation continues. 
A sexual assault was reported on State Route 142 in Moody. The incident is under investigation. 
A report of theft was received from a resident on County Road 8800 in West Plains. 
A gas drive-off was reported at Conley’s in Pomona. The driver was located and issued a citation for stealing. 
December 2
Two subjects unlawfully entered a residence on County Road 8800 in West Plains and had barricaded themselves inside the residence. Entry was gained, and the two suspects were arrested. A substance believed to be methamphetamine was found inside the residence. Charges of burglary, property damage and possession of a controlled substance are pending. 
A woman reported that she believed she had been the victim of a scam. A report was taken. 
A suspicious vehicle was reported near County Road 4210 in West Plains. Contact was made with the vehicle, and the operator was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. 
December 3
A deceased female was reported at a residence on County Road 1930. No foul play is suspected. 
A damaged mailbox and post were reported on Private Road 6922. A report was taken. 
A possible sexual assault was reported on State Route AD. The incident was cleared, as the victim does not want to press charges or make a statement. 
Suspected narcotics were located in a vehicle during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63 near Pomona. Charges are pending based on lab results of the substance that was found in the vehicle. 
A report of stealing was received from a resident on County Road 6070. The investigation continues. 
A woman reported that someone broke a window at her residence on County Road 9900. No suspect has been identified. 
December 4
A theft was reported from a storage unit on Lanton Road in West Plains. The lock had been cut off of the unit, and items were missing. The investigation continues. 
A report was received of a possible Facebook scam, threatening to share personal images on social media. The suspect has not been identified. 
A burglary was reported at a trailer park on U.S. Highway 63 in Pomona. The suspect was gone upon arrival. A report was taken. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on County Road 6540. Contact was made with the female victim, who received minor injuries. The male suspect was gone upon arrival. Charges are pending. 
Contact was made with a male subject with an active arrest warrant from West Plains. The subject was transported to the West Plains Jail. 
December 5
Contact was made with a male subject with an active warrant from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office. The male was taken into custody. 
A deceased female was reported at a residence on County Road 7760. No foul play is suspected. 
A male subject was transported to the Howell County Jail on outstanding warrants. 
A male subject was taken into custody on drug and weapon charges during a traffic stop on Bill Virdon Boulevard in West Plains. 
Seventy-two grams of suspected synthetic cannabinoid was recovered from a vehicle during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 160 in Southfork, along with over $1300 in cash. Charges were filed for one subject for delivery of a controlled substance.
