Dear Editor,
What has happened to our nation? Last year you published my opinion on the Biden Administration and my concerns with it. I had cautioned that due to Keystone being shut down, and removal of exploration and oil production on govt. land, that energy prices would go up, and that everything would cost us more. As an example, average increases on many things are shown below.

Now this isn’t just because of Keystone, but from policies stopping exploration, and utilization of public lands with oil on them. We now must import oil from Russia, Iran, and other middle east countries. Due to the stupidity of the Biden Administration, every darn thing you buy costs more today. The govt. is printing billions more dollars to cover their runaway spending and that caused inflation to rise to around 6.5%. That means less buying power for you, your family, and your dreams.
Another concern of mine was the influx of even more illegal aliens. In the past year over 2 million illegals have flooded our nation. The combined population of St. Louis, Missouri is about 2.8 million. With the illegals who were already in our nation it is accurate to say that we taxpayers are paying for food, housing, medical, and education for a population of ‘criminals’ equal to the population of St. Louis. (Actually, there are over 20 million illegals here today so this example is only 1/10 of the cost) That is only part of the problem though, they take jobs out of the economy which hurt the poorest among us. This Administration is encouraging them to keep coming and is quietly dropping them across the nation in the middle of the night in many cases, un-vaccinated, and un-vetted.
If this isn’t enough of a burden on the taxpayer, we have a govt. which mandated an experimental vaccine for much of the nation. Many people who refused the vaccine have lost their jobs. This is incredibly sad, as the govt. has no authority to make this mandate. It was unconstitutional from day one. Due to the virus, the economy was already in shambles, and this mandate only made things worse. Many, trying to be good citizens, have taken the vaccine, even though it is totally experimental. We don’t know what the long-term effects will be, and the early effects seen now are bad enough. The vaccine is harming people, though everyone seems quiet about that.
I hope that the Administration knows what it’s doing with Russia over the Ukraine. We don’t have an obligation to defend Ukraine, but the Administration seems willing to spend lives and our tax dollars doing so; that’s unwise in my opinion. Oddly enough though, Joe’s Administration is more concerned about Ukraine’s border than they are about our border. Sorry, but this Democrat Administration seems intent on destroying our nation. Please vote wisely in the mid-terms.
