Calls for Service 

February 25

A driver was booked and released roadside for driving while suspended on East Main. 

A woman was reported digging in the dumpster at Tractor Supply. The woman left before law enforcement arrival. 

A woman had fallen inside the cab of her semi-truck and hit her head while parked near Love’s. EMS evaluated the woman, and she did not seek further medical treatment. 

A male subject was reported yelling near the intersection of North Walnut and East Main. The man’s caretaker reported that he was upset for an unknown reason. 

February 26

A male subject was reported causing a disturbance at Family Dollar. Employees had refused service to the man after he had made rude and reportedly racist comments to an employee the previous day. The man, who had become irate and was yelling in the store, was trespassed from the property. 

An alarm sounded at Cox Health. The area was checked and secured. 

A female subject was booked and released roadside during a traffic stop on Business 60/63. The woman was found to be driving while suspended. 

February 27

A possible gunshot was heard near Hill Street. A pickup was seen leaving the area that the sound was heard. 

Assistance was given to EMS to gain entry to a residence on East Main. The resident was found injured on the floor inside and was taken to a Mountain View hospital. 

A well-being check was requested at a residence on East Main. The woman was fine, and just had her ringer turned down. 

A female caller on North Center Street reported that there was possibly someone behind her home. She stated that her home had been broken into in December. The area was checked, but no one was found. 

A caller reported being nipped at by a dog through a fence on West Main. 

March 1

An unoccupied vehicle was located at the city pool. 

A suspicious subject was reported near the schools. The subject could not be located.

A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on West 4th Street. The involved parties. Were separated, and possible remedies to the fighting were discussed.

A woman reported that someone’s dog had gotten out and had bitten her daughter. Contact was made with the owner of the dog, who, and he was advised to keep the animal contained.  

March 2

A small purse was found in the Love’s parking lot. The purse reportedly belonged to a truck driver. 

A verbal altercation was reported near the intersection of Pine and Park Streets. The group was advised to break it up or be cited with disorderly conduct. The parties agreed and left the scene. 

A gate was found open at American Diesel Mechanics on Frisco. The scene was checked and cleared.  

A person reported being assaulted at Cattlemen’s Steak House. 

March 3

A woman reported the possible violation of an ex-parte. The woman was advised to contact the police if it happened again, and to get a photo or video for evidence of the occurrence. 

A well-being check was requested at a residence on North Harris. The resident was in the hospital after he had fallen. 

Loose dogs were reported near County Road 1030. Contact was made with the owner to keep the dogs put away.
