Calls for Service 

April 3

A domestic disturbance was reported at Malone’s. It was determined that the altercation was verbal only. The involved parties were asked to leave the motel. 

An out-of-control customer was reported at Walmart. The person was asked to leave the store. 

A caller reported seeing a possible stolen vehicle. The vehicle left town before an officer could respond. The information was passed along to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Texas County Sheriff’s Office. 

A dog was reported running loose on Orchard. The owner of the animal was advised to keep the dog contained. 

An abandoned vehicle was observed on Elm. 

A caller requested extra patrol on Herman after their keys were taken. The caller was concerned that the car might be stolen. 

A disturbance involving a dog was reported on James Street. The involved parties were advised that the matter was a civil issue. 

A female caller requested extra patrol on Dameon, stating that her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her. 

A suspicious vehicle was reported in a church parking lot on East 5th Street. 

April 4

Honeysuckle Inn reported property damage by a guest. A burn was found on the floor, caused by a possible meth pipe. The pipe will be tested for methamphetamine. 

April 5

Carmart called in reference to an uncooperative person from whom they needed to repossess a vehicle. Eventually, the property owner allowed the repossessed vehicle to be toed from the property. 

A well-being check was made on a male subject who had posted possible statements of self-harm on social media. The man stated that he did not intend to hurt himself and was just venting on social media. 

A domestic disturbance was reported on Falk. A female at the scene stated that she was fine to stay at the residence. 

A flatbed trailer was reported stolen from behind TC’s Cafe. 

April 6

A woman reportedly began to lose consciousness while getting onto the bus at Walmart. EMS responded to the scene. 

A stolen vehicle was reported traveling from Eminence on U.S. Highway 60. 

April 7

Howell County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with a pursuit. Spikes were deployed on State Route 17 and State Route W. 

A vehicle was reported driving erratically. Contact was made with the driver, who was not impaired. The vehicle was in need of repair and could not be properly controlled. The driver was advised to reduce his speed, in order to better control the vehicle. 

A male subject was reported yelling at employees at Sonic.
