February 1

An individual spoke with Officer Allan Reef regarding a dog that killed their chickens. 

Officer Reef responded to Champs Fitness for a verbal dispute. No charges will be filed. 

February 2

Assistant Chief Stetson Schwien assisted EMS with a possible overdose on North Ash Street.

February 3

Corporal Trenton Roberts took a report from a business on North Oak Street for a stolen vehicle. 

Corporal Roberts responded to a business on North Oak for unruly individuals. They were escorted from the property.

Corporal Roberts assisted Division of Family Services with a home visit.

February 4

Corporal Roberts took a report of a violation of a protection order.

February 5

While on routine patrol, Officer Timothy Gordon an individual requested a wellbeing check on a family member. He made contact with the individual, who relayed they were fine and would contact family.

Corporal Roberts responded to West Third Street for a wellbeing check. He contacted the individual and advised them to reach out to the reporting party.

February 6

Officer Kylie McGee responded to Mercy Hospital for a patient reporting an assault. A follow up investigation will be conducted.

Corporal Roberts received a call to East US Highway 60 for a runaway juvenile. He located the juvenile and returned them safely home.

Corporal Roberts responded to East Third for a disturbance involving animals getting loose. He made contact with both parties and advised the owners to keep their animals on their own property.

Officer McGee responded to North State Route Y for a wellbeing check. She contacted the individual who advised they had slipped and fallen. but had no serious injuries.

February 7

Chief Jamie Perkins received several calls of a subject walking into traffic near Anchor. He did not locate the subject. 

Officer McGee spoke to a resident on Marr Street regarding dogs running loose. 

Officers McGee responded to Woosley Street for a verbal disturbance. One party agreed to leave for the evening for the safety of a child in the residence.

February 8

Officer McGee assisted an individual concerned with an unwanted person attempting to contact them. 

Chief Perkins responded to a call of an elderly person who had fallen in the street. He assisted the individual back into the home. No injuries were reported.

February 9

Officer Gordon responded to a residence for a report of tree limbs possibly falling on power lines. After observing the situation, he advised the caller to contact the electric department.

Officer Reef took a report from a parent reporting their child missing. He dealt with a similar situation with the family previously. He located the juvenile and found them safe.

Assistant Chief Schwien responded to North Plum for a report of a dog at large. He issued a citation to the owners. 

Officer Gordon took a report of a non-injury accident.

Assistant Chief Schwien took a report of a non-injury accident at Apple Marking parking lot.
