There's only a short time left in the fourth annual Howell County News Morel Photo Contest. Submit a photo of your most impressive morel haul by May 5. The editor will evaluate entries for size and quantity of the mushrooms as well as the mushroom’s appearance and the photo’s overall composition.
This year, we have two age categories. We’ll award two grand prizes - one for those 18 and under, and one for adults.
These two winners will receive a $25.00 cash prize and a one-year print/digital subscription to Howell County News. Three runner-up winners will receive a digital/print bundle each, a $50.00 value.
Submit your photo to editor@howellcountynews by May 3. The winners will be announced in the following paper.
