All parade entries welcome in W.S.

Organizers of the traditional Fourth of July parade are hoping to sign up 250 parade entries to make this one of the largest and most memorable parades in Willow Springs history.

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce is encouraging all types of parade entries and wants the message to be clear: any parade entry is welcome! If the entry can show patriotism, community pride, creativity, or entries simply want to be part of the celebration, the Chamber wants it in the lineup.

Entries may include churches, businesses, civic groups, nonprofit organizations, families, neighborhood groups, local high school bands, cheerleaders, sports teams, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, VFW, American Legion, dance groups, tractors, classic cars, motorcycles, horses, golf carts, floats, walking groups, emergency vehicles, and more. Whether the entry is large or small, decorated or simple, everyone is encouraged to participate. Best of all, entry is completely free.

The parade will begin with line-up at 9:00 a.m. at the Willow Springs High School parking lot, with participants entering off 10th Street near the football field. The parade will officially step off at 10:00 a.m., traveling from Ferguson, down Main Street, and ending at Booster Field.

Parade registration is now open. Entry forms can be completed online at willowspringschamber/2026-4th-of-july-parade-entry-form
