May 25

Cpl. Brandon Stephens conducted a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner and issued two subjects citations for minors in possession of alcohol. 

Officer Nathaniel Siegrist conducted a requested wellbeing check.

Officer Tyler Gill took a report of a violation of an order of protection.

Officer Gill spoke with individuals regarding a domestic altercation. 

Cpl. Stephens conducted a traffic stop on Gibson Ave and arrested an individual for an outstanding warrant.

May 26

Officer Robert Shell responded to the area of Bruce Smith Parkway for a runaway juvenile. The located the juvenile and transported them to OZH for a mental health evaluation.

May 27

Officer Daiman Meyer conducted a traffic stop on Broadway Street and arrested the driving for driving while intoxicated.

Officer Siegrist began an investigation with Children’s Division in reference to an incident that occurred at FCC Behavioral Health C-Star. This case will remain open at this time pending further investigation.

An officer spoke to individuals reporting fraud or stolen identity. This case will require further investigation.

Officers responded to a residence and spoke to an individual reporting her son's bike missing from the bike rack in front of her residence.

May 28

Officer Meyer conducted a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated. 

Officer Siegrist responded to W. Third in reference to a burglary in progress. He located the suspect placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers investigated a non-injury vehicle accident with one driver leaving the scene. This case is under investigation.

Officer Shell responded to the area of Dana Dr for a disturbance. They transported an individual to OZH and placed on a 96-hour mental health evaluation.

Officers responded to a suicidal subject threatening to harm themselves and currently inflicted a cut on themself. While on scene subject attempted to go into a room containing sharp objects, ignoring lawful commands and resisting efforts to contain them. They transported the subject to OZH pending their decision on mental evaluation.

Officer Shell took a report of false impersonation. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.

May 29

Officer Tyler Franks responded to a residence in reference to a missing juvenile. Several attempts to locate the juvenile have not been successful. The case remains open.

Officer Ivie Powell took a report of someone stealing clothing from a dryer. 

Officer Wartanby assisted the Department of Social Services - Children's Division with an investigation by responding to a residence and confirming the wellbeing of the children involved. No further investigation will continue.

Officer Jacob Miller responded to West Main Street for a verbal domestic disturbance. 

Officer Katie Sandgren responded to Worcester St. for a report of a juvenile, approximately 2-3 years old, unattended in the roadway. She located and returned the child to a guardian, and a hotline to the Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect will be made.

May 30

Cpl. Powell responded to Lanton Road for an allegation of possible child abuse through the Children’s Division, FCC Behavioral Health C-Star.

Officer Caleb Kerley received information from the Howell County Sheriff's Office regarding a sex offender failing to register. His investigation located the individual and arrested them. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutors' Office for review.

Officer Wartanby conducted a death investigation on Greenway.

May 31

Officer Dawson Beavers responded to Hull St for a domestic altercation. His investigation found a couple fought verbally until one shoved the other. Neither reported injuries nor wished to pursue charges.

Officer Vernon responded to Preacher Roe Blvd for a report of stealing. 

Officer Keepes responded to a residence on South Howell for a verbal domestic dispute. He placed one individual on a 96-hour hold.

Officer Kerley responded to a business on Porter Wagoner for a report of stealing. His investigation will continue after receiving video surveillance. 

Officer Tombley conducted a traffic stop on Porter Wagoner and arrested the individual for an outstanding warrant.
